<description>Hey Kieran -- Stumbling across your blog has been one of the highlights of 2006. Thank you in particular for the photos from the Dingle Wren. I&#039;ve always wanted to celebrate Christmas in Dingle, specifically for the Wren Day. Maybe 2007?

My Irish grandmother used to buy chocolate lace for us each Christmas, sprinkling it on top of the best vanilla ice cream she could find. This year I found it available online:

It was as good as I remember it and it was a big hit -- particularly with the younger generation (we had the dark chocolate version, the only kind of chocolate my grandmother liked). I thought I&#039;d pass on the link in case you hadn&#039;t heard of this lovely stuff before (it comes out of Russia, not Ireland).

Thanks again for the sweet words and photos from Ireland, and Happy New Year!
